Robin's Egg Blue

After seeing the ladies' photos of Robin's Egg Blue items on the blog sponsoring the challenge of a color a week at http://\project64colors.blogspot.com, I headed to our local antique store on Martin Luther King Boulevard.  I was prepared to see lovely antiques in that specific color.  On the way, I spotted the color on a favorite haunt of the now defunct junior high (now we call it middle school) that I attended in the 1950s.  As I'm proceeding to my intended destination, I'm saying to myself, "I can stop there on my way back home."  But the other side of myself said, "But what if you decide to go another way?"  First self then said, "Turn around and get that shot NOW!"   So I did, and am I pleased I did because, even though I did see many items that fit the criteria (and I wanted to bring them home with me), I am entering the photo I shot at that favorite haunt called Goff's.

I love your photo, and love that it has such a great story attached. That's what it is all about after all!

I have that conversation with myself all the time...and I usually go back a different way and wish I had taken the photo when I saw it.

Merci, Simone. Susan, that angle is what caught my eye.
Sometimes it pays to have a talk with oneself, Rebecca!
