Project 64: White

inside my Maytag washer
Dreamsicle, one of a small collection
I have to say, he looks more off-white against the white of the tub.

shea butter in a jar

coffee filters

bathroom tissue holder

some of my favorites of my rock and shell collection
This project has helped me develop a more discerning eye of objects in my domicile and environs. Each week I am vigilant in my search for the item of the week's color that will rivet the beholder's attention to my entry.  Here's hoping I chose wisely.

I love to paint in white too....a tinge of purple, yellow, or green changes the plain white paint into a softened hue of white. I like your photos.

Love all your different white objects. Love how you tried different perspectives too.
My fave is the washing machine basket.

I'm smiling at the inside of your washer!
Your Dreamsicle photo reminds me I have one of those packed away that my children gave me years ago.
My favorite shot is the faucet handles. I love those!

I love all your white photos, and you reminded me that I still need to post mine. About the My Top Five, I'm hoping I can help. For the button, click on the link that says click "here" for the rules and a button and you should find html code there that you can copy and past into your post. If it doesn' work, I'm not sure . . . I'm not much of an expert in html, but I will try and figure it out. As far as getting photos off of other's blogs, some just don't let you. In that case, if it's a blog I visit often, I've left a comment letting them know how I'd like to use it and asking them to email me their file. Otherwise, if I can't just right click and save it to my hard drive, I have to find another photo I like instead. Oh, and if you can't get the button to work, a text link is fine with me.

You certainly don't lack for white at your house. I laughed at the first one...the inside of your washer. Don't think I ever thought of that, but what a great idea! Love the little Dreamsicle.

Love your white hot and cold faucet... looks similar to the ones I have. Wonderful different textures in your photos, too!

Lovely faucet! I have a rock collection too. I have been fascinated by rocks all my life. When I got married, I lost the one I had as a girl but now I have another. This one is a collection which my son helps me with. He does a fair amount of traveling and he always picks me up a rock from wherever he has been. I have some from across Canada, the US, Portugal, and this Summer he will bring me back a couple from France. :)
Thanks for your visit and have a great weekend.

Blessings,
Sandi
