Signs, Signs

Although it's been some months since I took these photos at Maring-Hunt Library, I hadn't shared them yet.  I agree with Dumas; I hope to keep learning till the day I die.  And then, of course, I will learn in a different way.

It is a nice idea to include quotations on library walls. My local one does not do that, but the bookstore does!

I like the idea that our education is never finished, :)

Mr. Dumas was a wise man. And you are also wise!

I don't think work ever really finishes either. It just changes, morping into something different throughout our life. I like the font that quote is printed in. Any idea what it might be?

Ah, if only Dumas were right and one's work ever ended! Nevertheless, I like the sign and I'm delighted it was in a library.

That work never ends was my first though too but he does say 'may'. Hmmm. Certainlt our education need never finish but I do sometimes wonder whether there are not people around who never increase their knowledge one iota.
