Paddington was one of my favorite stories to read to my first grade students so I was thrilled to receive him from my granddaughter Celeste. My Paddington was purchased at Paddington Station when she was studying at the London Center in 2007. Pride moves me to relate that she worked three jobs in order to have that opportunity to study abroad. |

Paddington is exactly the right color! :)
What a cute Paddington! I imagine it means all the more since it's a gift from your granddaughter:)

What a wonderful young lady she must be! I'll have to check out some Paddington books from our library to read to Wyatt in honor of her!
Thank you, my dear, how thoughtful!
We had the same idea. I also need a stuffed animal.
I love Paddington! I sent a Paddington to my grand-daughter a short time ago. She's too young for the stories yet, but I couldn't resist. :)
My sister had a mould of Paddington, and made a bear for my son. I have not thought of using it for my students. It's too precious in case one of the student breaks it.
Paddington is perfect for tumbleweed!
Does this ever bring back memories! I remember Paddington from my English upbringing, but here in America nobody's ever heard of him.
he is a cutie! and from London. does he have an accent? :-)
I love Paddington and he's perfect for tumbleweed...which I'm still sort of looking for.
Appreciate the nice comments you've left of late. Just finished my college course so hope to be more faithful about getting out to read posts and comment.
