The Artist Way

Wanting to feed my spirit and to take on one of the practices of The Artist Way, I visited the flower section of Marsh.  For my artist date, I bought a salmon-colored long stem rose.  I was on my way to meet my friend River for another nutritional snack for my spirit.  I was not disappointed!  :)

Ooh, Norma--I love this--both the idea of the flower for your Artist Date AND the picture! You are a great photographer--this is beautiful!

River and I missed you all, but I got one-on-one instruction. That part was good. Love you all and hope we're together again soon!

Sure, that salmon rose is a beauty, but the light streaming in the window really caught my attention. It's pretty hot as a photographer would say, but what a way to say, 'Attention Me!' You just never know what else will capture yor attention and move your thought in another direction. The glow from the window captured another dimension, adding more beauty to that picture. Something good is waiting at the window sill and even now, it's streaming through your kitchen, bringing rays of hope in the everyday moments, like coffee and a salmon colored rose saying, "Will you be my friend?"
