A Photo a Day: My Daily Sustenance, Day 171

Last week granddaughter Charley, her delightful munchkin Myah and I visited oldest granddaughter Candice.
She has developed a green thumb like her mother.  All around the house is an abundance of floral beauty.

I think the tuber begonia resembles a rose.

For some reason, willow trees personify tranquility for me.
I love the unique shaped of the coned baskets.  It's like a taste treat for the eyes!

Son Derek made this.

As you can see, it's functional as well as cute.
The same son (Derek) who created the stained glass  beauties I've shared with you made this for Candice. The bottoms of wine bottles were used.  It stands by her deck helping make her backyard a haven of serenity.

Beautiful pictures! The begonia does indeed look like a rose.

love your flowers and what a great idea to make that storage area like a bird house!

I love the willow tree also! And all the little touches that she has added, like the stained glass and the bird house, make this look like a lovely retreat!

The flowers are beautiful but the willow tree is magnificent in its beauty and tranquility. The hold a special place in my childhood heart.
