A Photo a Day: My Daily Sustenance, Day 182

The heavens opened up and brought us some needed rain and a lower temperature
(by 30 degrees)! Unfortunately there was not enough to cover the river bottom.  On our way to Lowe's, my son and I glanced at the river, and he remarked that the ground must have soaked up all the rain with none left to flow to the river.  So rain prayers are still needed.
One blessing we Hoosiers do have though- we are not experiencing any fires.  So prayers are still needed for the Colorado residents and gallant firefighters.

We've had a mssive thunderstorm here last night, and plenty of rain to go with it. I hope for dry weather today, since we are having the trial run for my home town's City Run today. To run 10 km in the pouring rain is not much fun, but I don't want to miss out on the training, either!

The sun has just come out here in Exeter, UK, after days of rain. Weather is strange everywhere this year.
