  Abundant shadows
encompass St. Mary's grounds,
engaging my eyes.

See more delightful shadows here.

A Photo a Day: My Daily Sustenance, Day 231

See more shadows here.

Shadows on the steps,
leading to St. Mary's doors,
a space to worship.

A Photo a Day: My Daily Sustenance, Day 217

Shadows, and this capture would have worked for reflections too.

Shed some light upon
the subject, reference books,
 needed for writing.

A Photo a Day: My Daily Sustenance, Day 211

Image of Mary
bathed in shadows and sunlight,
enlightens my heart.

As many will see, I've moved Mary so that she is more visible than before.
Also she's amid colorful flowers, a more suitable location I think.

A Photo a Day: My Daily Sustenance, Day 197

I love the bending of the window's shadow in my kitchen sink.
I'm doing a two-fer today letting this be my photo for the day and linking to
Shadow Shot Sunday.

Shadow Shot Sunday

Ting Ting will jump into baskets and boxes and crawl into sacks and open drawers, cabinets, and even a microwave or dishwasher.  Too often my camera is not handy, but this time she was playing with the laundry ball long enough for me to capture her shadow and that of the laundry basket.

I hope you all are enjoying cooler temperatures.  Indiana is!
More shadow shots are found here.

A Photo a Day: My Daily Sustenance, Day 183

My dumpling Myah was looking in her cousins' kitchen door to look at the "kikkies."
I got both shadows and reflections on this shot.
Did I ever mention how much I love and enjoy this great-granddaughter of mine?  Insert big grin here!

I just happened to notice this on the rear of some mailboxes during my photo walk.  I'm glad that I did; I like the play of the sunlight with the shadows.

Shadow Shot

No, this wasn't taken this month, but I like it.
Well, for whatever reason, Blogger won't let me link to Shadow Shot Sunday.  Finally!  I tried the linking on the word here, but when I changed it to the title of the blog, success.  Blogging is certainly a learning experience.  I'll celebrate that!

Shadow Shot Sunday

I seldom catch shadow shots when they are shorter than the actual thing. Snatch the link to Shadow Shot Sunday, always some lovely and unusual scenes.

The shadow makes my small fence look like a lovely weaving.
I don't know why I haven't been here before, but thanks to Dawn Treader's Picture Book 2 I've discovered it and LIKE it a lot!
