Project 64: Scarlet
As much as I love red, any shade of red, I discovered that I had little in the range of scarlet. Again my mind's image did not line up with the actual crayon hue. So I brought in my daughter's and granddaughter's eyes to help me decide. One of my favorite scrapbook's cover is the first image below. I purchased it at Hobby Lobby; they have some of the best buys if you can shop on their 50% discount days. To me, if you looked in the dictionary for the word "scarlet", this would be the example of the color. Yet both Alison and Charley thought that my purse would serve equally as scarlet. I have two images of my purse, shown in two different settings. (Thanks to photography blogs I follow, I am now taking multiple shots in different settings.) Since I'm the participant in Project 64, I must make the final decision. And the winner is (drum roll, please)...
