Sepia Scenes: Memory Box

In this memory box are keepsakes that belonged to my uncle Raymond.  He served in the US Navy during WWII.  Although I was only three years old, I remember his graduation from pilot school which took place at George Field in Lawrenceville, Illinois.  Lawrenceville is just across the Wabash River from Vincennes, Indiana.

Sepia Scenes: Pony Portrait

Back in the 1930s and 1940s, photographers
went door-to-door to take children's
photographs on a pony.  In this one,
is my sweet sister-in-law.
