Poor baby... I feel so bad for him. I brought him home today; his surgery went fine yesterday. I opened the door of the carrier so that he could come out on his own. I then left for Bible Study. After I arrived home, I was closing the door of the carrier so that I could take it back to my storage shed. Jax must have thought that he was going for another ride because he clomped through the kitchen to my bedroom. Under the bed he went! He's been there ever since. (two hours and counting) That's the leaf to my kitchen table on which he's ensconced. The white you see are his bandages. Post-surgery instructions says he's to have moderate exercise for five days. Hmm, what do you think? Safe to say, he's getting less than that today. Here's hoping... The vet's office gave me Yesterday's News for his litter box. Interesting looking...it reminds me of the pellets we fed our rabbits when we lived in the country. It's a combination of old newspapers and sawdust. I checked one store on-line for the price difference of the litter I normally buy and Yesterday's News. Yesterday's News costs $9.99 for 13.2 pounds; Fresh Step cost $9.99 for 20 pounds. If there's less trailing of the new litter, I may change products. |

I have to be honest and say that I'm not sure that I'd like to have all my finger nails removed. Doubtless you will be forgiven when it all heals up.
