| For some reason,these stacks of material are eye-candy to me. I think that this may sound strange to most people because I do not sew. I've tried, because I love handmade items, but I often bollox up the thread on the machine. However, I can picture my books wrapped in these lovely materials. So where did I shoot this image? Certainly not in my home, but in my daughter-in-law's work space. |

Doesn't sound strange to me - I can't sew, either, but these stacks of colourful fabric have an appeal to me that is hard to explain. Maybe because of all the possibilities - what one COULD make out of them - or maybe because of the history behind each piece, or a combination of both.
I was going to be lost for something to say on this apart from the fact that I liked the idea of the bundles. However Librarian said it so much better so I'll second her comment
