Just a few seconds before I snapped this, Ting Ting (Siamese cat) was napping on the sofa. Jax jumped up, was edging his front paw toward her, then next thing I know she's on the arm of the sofa ready for a fight! But...it didn't happen.

You are so funny. I think Jax's size could be intimidating. Ting Ting has hissed at him, and he pulled his head back, but this has been the most physical either has gotten. And really what you show was all there was. They are entertaining, that's for sure. I'm glad I have both of them. They both were adopted at Petsmart's from Action for Animals one year apart. (Both close to Mother's Day!)

Ting Ting is still relatively new to the household, and hierarchy must be firmly established, of course...
My mother-in-law's two cats have now been living together for years, and they still do this from time to time, just in case one of them has forgotten their place in the order of things.
Yes. Jax will want to make sure of his rightful place in the order of things - as he sees it.
