I decided to name the black bunny who visits...Benjamin. He's using my yard as his feeding ground. I suppose he's come here because I haven't done my usual "weed and feed" which makes only grass grow not clover or weeds. I'm considering treating only the part of my yard that faces the street because of Benjamin. When I told my daughter about him yesterday, she said that he used to come to her yard when she lived just the street over from mine. He was a baby then. I relayed that he's much bigger now. He looks healthy, don't you agree? I'm glad that dogs and cats are not allowed to roam in our park. |

Sweet... Why don't you buy a bag of bunny chow and put it in a little bowl every day, that way you know he'll get his vitamins.:)
wow he is cute! You rarely see black bunnies in the wild...I am wondering if Benjamin was(is) someone's pet?
I agree with Cat Chat With Caren And Cody; wondering whether he is/was someone's pet, or maybe one of his parents was a pet rabbit escaped. Very nice of you to leave your patch of grass as it is for his benefit!
Generally rabbits are a real nuisance but your's seems to be a wild 'pet'. If he brings you pleasure then that's a Good Thing.
