| latest addition to my bottle collection I had no idea that this type of stopper was still used. The bottle to the left of the blue one is a vintage citrate of magnesia bottle container. My youngest son informed me that the stunning blue bottle is for beer. Oh, the things we learn! If you are a frequent reader, you surely know by now that blue, especially cobalt blue, is my favorite color for interior decoration. |

this is a great image. almost grey scale but the blue makes it.
I think cobalt is my favorite color. It makes the bottle mysterious. I've never seen a blue beer bottle. I remember drinking a Dutch beer in a similar but brown bottle.
When I had a pottery one of the favourite colours with customers was created using cobalt. It can also be a very difficult colour to use in pottery and was often the bane of my life. It's also very expensive.
