I captured these lovely forget-me-nots with my Canon camera set on manual. I'm pleased with my attempt.  I know that I'm an amateur, but hey, I did it!

Project 64: Orange

These were taken in the fall with my Canon macro lens.  Even though I like this color, I have few items in my home that are orange.  I hope you'll go to the Project 64 site to view others' contributions of the color orange!

Macro Study of Bee

Viewing other photo-bloggers' intriguing shots of insects, I wanted to try my hand at it.  One morning as I was ready to water the flowers on my deck, I sighted the bee.  I hurriedly got my Canon, on which I have a macro lens.  Snap, snap, snap.
I'm pleased with my first attempt.

I stumbled onto an edit called "stitching" when I was renaming photos  I'd taken on my Canon.  I don't know if I'll be able to do it again.  But I will try!

My Choice for the 37 Day Challenge

I am traipsing very slowly through Life is a Verb.  The challenge on the page I last visited invited me to practice doing something for 37 days.  The idea being that "practice makes perfect."  At least, that's the way I interpreted it.  Positing for a while, I opted to write a Haiku a day till I reach the 37 day mark. Knowing that I would not want to face a post with 37 Haikus, to digest at one sitting.  So I'm choosing  three from my first ten days' writing.  Then, if I feel that my writing shows improvement by day 37, I'll post two or three  from the latter ones.

No car, no travels

Grey skies, no motivation

Buck up; be the sun!
