A Photo a Day: My Daily Sustenance, Day 31

After the Bishop's Mass at St. Mary, I shot this photo because I've become a shadow/reflection addict.  The Bishop was here as part of the diocese-wide celebration of Catholic Schools Week.  Our parish and school were privileged to be the hosts.  St. Lawrence students joined our students at Mass.  I was a proud retired teacher to hear the children's excellent readings, attending to the Bishop and other priests as altar servers, and singing.

This postcard is of St. Lawrence Catholic School.  Next to it is the sisters of St. Agnes convent.  By the time I taught here in 1967, the top story of the school had been condemned.  So I never saw that floor.  The sisters had already moved into another house next to the church, and their old convent had become the school's cafeteria by 1967.
