Sunday was the  Feast of Corpus Christi.
Our parish celebrated it with a procession that started in our church and proceeded outside to our lovely grounds.  One of the four stations was set at the entrance of our parish school.  This building is name Cyr Center in honor of Monsignor Cyr who designed and oversaw the building of our parish church.

The canopy carried by men of the parish was sewn by a lady parishioner.  It covers the priest and the Monstrance he carries. The Monstrance  contains the Blessed Sacrament (body of Christ).

Deacon Gary proclaims the Gospel at each station.  Deacon Gary is a permanent deacon, meaning he won't take the next step of being ordained a priest.  That's because he is married to a lovely lady who also is a pastoral associate.

Here is a close-up of the Monstrance. In the middle of it, one sees the Blessed Sacrament.

This station is on the porch of the home for retired priests.
This home and its grounds were once inhabited by the noted Kitselman family.

I love the pageantry of ceremonies such as this procession.
