A Photo a Day: My Daily Sustenance, Day 116

Even though I take dozens of this little imp's face, you, the reader, see few of them.  That's because I know that my love for her drives me to snap, snap, snap!
Her eyes reveal that she is planning something...and I am there to take it in and cherish her in the midst of whatever happens.

A Photo a Day: My Daily Sustenance, Day 48

a close-up of my sweet great-granddaughter's toe
She's in the hospital; she's being monitored via this attachment on her toe and other wires are attached to her tummy.  She gave us all quite a scare by having a hard time breathing.  This morning I was able to hold her like a baby for the first time in months without her wiggling to climb down.  It felt delicious to hold her while at the same time fretting because her being still meant that she is really sick.

Sepia: Sonogram

I was lucky enough to be invited to go
with my granddaughter to her ob appointment.
I got to hear the baby's heart beat.  And later
I got a copy of the sonogram.  Isn't God great?
My delightful great-granddaughter was born
in October of 2010!
