Playing with Light and Shadows

After visiting several photography blogs that I enjoyed yesterday, I decided to try my hand at playing.  When I was a kid, I did that easily without thinking about it.  I just did it!  It's sad that I have to ponder so heavily now before doing an acitivity that once was as natural as breathing.  I'm certainly no expert, but I'm satisfied with my results.   Thank you, Lord, for the winter sunlight and snow.

I love your pictures--and I love that you played! You're right--as kids we just played naturally, all the time. Now we feel as though we have to have permission to play--we make a chore of it! Oh, I also love that you have been writing haiku! You go, Norma! I love seeing you blossom!

These are wonderful shadows playing with light and Norma. I am so glad you found them and they found you. Go, Haiku Mama. You are grabbing the creative ribbons and braiding beauty into each day. I love you and I love your new creative being.

It was fun, Linda and Sandi, and I'm happy about the results. Linda, the photography sites you recommended to me have brought out in me a new desire to explore. Thanks for finding them for me.
Sandi, I got my book about praying in color yesterday. I started reading it almost immediately! Thanks for pointing me in that direction. :)
