ICE STORM 2011

What kind of bird?  Orchard Oriole?  I've never seen one before.

I'm sharing photos I've snapped this week through my kitchen window, storm door, and just outside my door.  Desiring  close-up shots of ice on surfaces, I tucked my cell phone into my coat, put shoes with the best tread and went outside.  S  l  o  w  l  y  easing down the steps, I shuffled along to get up close and personal shots of the tree, bush and car.
Thankfully, I cautiously and without mishap entered my cozy and toasty home.

At nearly 71, I've learned to walk softly and carry a cell phone!

I remember those Indiana storms, being raised in Whiting. But I sure don't miss them!

Great photos!
