A Photo a Day: My Daily Sustenance, Day 233

I had to look up this guy in THE AUDUBON SOCIETY FIELD GUIDE TO NORTH AMERICAN BIRDS Eastern Region to discover that he is a White-breasted Nuthatch.

White-breasted nuthatch,
exquisite bird in my tree,
prompts joy in my heart!

Nuthatches really are rather special little birds which can make an extraordinary din for their size.
