At first, I thought I didn't have any lavender items. I was picturing the pale purple that my husband and I had on the walls of our master bedroom the first year of our marriage.  So when I colored on white paper with the actual lavender crayon, I thought, "It's more pink than I remembered."  So off to match my swatch of color to things in my home.  As usual, I've wrestled with what to choose for the project.  The toilet paper container lid fits the color most closely I think, but I'm intrigued with the idea of posting the pram in the doll house built by my loving and talented husband and youngest son several years ago.  I cherish it!  So...

I love the doll house! I saw the photo without reading the caption and wondered how you managed that perspective!

I hadn't realised it was a doll house pram, so difficult to tell the scale. Great thinking, never thought to look through our dollhouses, will have to keep it in mind next time!!

I know, lavender was more pinky than I remembered too. I love the precious doll house and the toilet paper container does match very closely too!

I always think of lavender as more blue, too. I suppose you can have all shades of lavender - there is even some that's almost white growing in my garden.
